How does a Website Template work?

I'm glad you asked! Website Templates are kind of like a crock-pot - you put your ingredients in, and then the crockpot does the rest of it. With a website template, you'll be given an access code with the web pages already built out. At minimum all you would have to do is update the words on each page and change the colors to match your brand (aka your ingredients), but you can update every single detail that's in the template to your heart's content.

Will you host the website for me?

I built my website templates in ShowIt, so you will need a ShowIt subscription to actually use the template. Your website will then be housed in ShowIt where you can login and make any tweaks you need. And I have a code for you to get your first month for free!

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the digital nature of these products, at this point in time, I do not offer refunds unless the link arrives broken and you can't access the file.

Do I need to know how to code?

Absolutely NOT. ShowIt is an incredibly easy & intuitive to learn, so before you know it, you'll be confidently updating your website information with no problems!

Plus I send along a thorough guidebook on how to navigate ShowIt and your website so that you have some additional support!

Why should I pay for ShowIt instead of using a free platform to host my site?

Great question! As a web designer, I have worked with many different platforms. While a free site can be super appealing, there are definite drawbacks. It won't be as customizable and it risks not looking quite as professional.

I've worked with clients in the past who initially were set up for a "free" site, but every time they decide to upgrade so that they have more functionality within their site. By the time they've upgraded, they're either paying the same or more to what ShowIt costs.

Do I need to purchase anything else?

A ShowIt membership is needed in order to use the template. Upon purchase, you'll receive a code for 1 free month of ShowIt. The lowest subscription option is $19 / month.

I've found this to be a very average price when it comes to a website builder subscription. ShowIt then will host your website for you (monthly hosting fees  can get into the triple digits, so this is a great option!).

Additionally, you will need to purchase your own domain (unless you already have one, then it's easy to transfer over!). This is a one-time annual fee and usually ranges from $10-$20.
